Echinacea Purpurea ‘Little Magnus’

Echinacea ‘Little Magnus’ is a superb, compact variety, making a splash with its purple-pink coneflowers which have plump, rounded central cones. The flowers of this delightful hardy perennial are loved by bees and butterflies and the seeds are favoured by birds, so it introduces great biodiversity into a garden. Echinacea purpurea ‘Little Magnus’ sits well in a border and likes well-drained soil in sunshine or even in partly shaded sites. This is perfect in a cottage garden planting scheme but equally at home in the contemporary garden. The flowers, which appear in July, August and September, are excellent for cutting too.
