Echinacea ‘Little Magnus’ is a superb, compact variety, making a splash with its purple-pink coneflowers which have plump, rounded central cones. The flowers of this delightful hardy perennial are loved by bees and butterflies and the seeds are favoured by birds, so it introduces great biodiversity into a garden. Echinacea purpurea ‘Little Magnus’ sits well in a border and likes well-drained soil in sunshine or even in partly shaded sites. This is perfect in a cottage garden planting scheme but equally at home in the contemporary garden. The flowers, which appear in July, August and September, are excellent for cutting too. Height: 45cm (18″). Spread: 30cm (12″).

1 x 1 Litre Potted Plant (58356)
Grow Echinacea plants in a sunny or semi shaded situation. Choose a position in moist, well drained soil. Echinacea plants prefer a deep, fertile soil so work some well rotted manure or garden compost into the soil prior to planting.
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season until Coneflower plants are fully established. Deadhead faded Echinacea flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced. In autumn, remove old foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure to the base of the plant.
