An Afro-French hybrid, Marigold ‘Zenith Mixed’ produces crested, carnation-like flowers in a mixture of colours including reds, oranges, yellows and bicolour shades. Gradually acclimatise garden-ready Marigold plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting into their final positions in beds, baskets and patio containers. Only plant out once all risk of frost has passed. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.

Grow marigold plants in any well drained soil in full sun. Feed and water regularly. Deadhead faded marigold flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced.
