100 Bulbs (In The Green) (25 Of Each Variety) (KB3789)
Bulbs in the green should be planted at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Choose a position in dappled shade in reliably moist, well drained soil. These bulbs prefer a soil rich in organic matter so add some well rotted manure or compost to the soil. Carefully separate the individual bulbs and space them randomly throughout the planting area at a distance of 10cm apart. Plant them as close to their original soil depth as possible, or at a depth of 5cm (2″). The original soil depth can be identified on the leaf stems where the colour changes from white to green. Water regularly until bulbs are fully established.
When growing spring bulbs, it is essential to allow their foliage to die back naturally. Avoid mowing areas of grass where they are naturalised until they have completely died back.
